Terms of Use

Last updated: November 4, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of PostMuse, the app on iOS and Android, and the website postmuseapp.com (together, “PostMuse”). PostMuse is provided by DIACONU MOBILE APPS SOCIETATE CU RASPUNDERE LIMITATA (“Diaconu Mobile Apps”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Romania, whose developer name on Google Play is HeyNap. The app is listed as “Reels Story Templates: PostMuse” on the App Store and “PostMuse: Text on Story Editor” on Google Play.

By downloading or using PostMuse, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use PostMuse. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

1. Who can use PostMuse

PostMuse is for anyone who wants to design stories and posts for social media. You must be at least 13 to use it. If you’re under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you, and should be the one to decide about any purchase.

2. PostMuse is independent

PostMuse is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram, Facebook, Meta, Snapchat, Unsplash or any other platform or service we mention or that you share to. Their names and trademarks belong to them.

  • Templates are starting points. You decide what to post, and you’re responsible for it.
  • When you share a design to another app, that app’s terms and rules apply, not these Terms. We don’t control those platforms, and we’re not responsible for what they do with your posts or your account.
  • Platforms change their formats, sizes and rules. We try to keep PostMuse up to date, but we can’t promise that a design will fit, or be accepted by, every platform.

3. Your license to use PostMuse

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PostMuse on devices you own or control, for your own use, including for your business or brand, under these Terms and the rules of the store you got it from. You may not:

  • copy, modify, distribute, sell or rent PostMuse or any part of it, except for sharing the designs you make, as section 5 allows;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law allows it;
  • remove any copyright, trademark or other notices;
  • interfere with our servers or security, or access PostMuse or its content by automated means;
  • use PostMuse for anything unlawful.

4. What you create

The photos, videos, text and designs you put into PostMuse stay yours. You are responsible for them, and for having the right to use everything in your designs and to share it: photos, videos, logos, music, fonts, text, and other people’s work or likeness. We don’t claim ownership of your content. You give us only the permission we need to handle your content so that PostMuse works for you.

Don’t use PostMuse to create or share anything that is unlawful, infringes someone else’s rights (such as copyright, trademark or privacy), is hateful, harassing or threatening, or misleads people about who you are.

PostMuse saves your designs in the app so you can come back to them, but it isn’t a backup service. If you delete the app, or your phone is lost or reset, your designs may be gone and we may not be able to recover them. Save your finished designs to your photo library, or share them, to keep your own copy. Your phone’s own backups (iCloud or Google) may include them, depending on your settings.

5. Templates, photos and fonts

PostMuse comes with templates, fonts, frames, filters and photos. Some are ours, and some belong to others and are licensed to us. The free stock photos come from Unsplash and are covered by the Unsplash License.

You can use the designs you create in PostMuse for any lawful purpose, including to promote your business or brand, on any platform. You may not:

  • sell, share or redistribute PostMuse’s templates, fonts, frames or other content on their own, as a template pack, or inside another app or service;
  • use PostMuse’s content to build a competing template library or app;
  • say that you created PostMuse’s content, or use it as part of a trademark or logo.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

PostMuse is free to download, and you can use many of its templates and tools for free. Some of the tools and some of the templates need a PRO subscription, bought through the App Store or Google Play. The app shows what is free and what isn’t.

  • Payment: you pay through your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase. The plan, its price and its billing period (for example weekly, monthly or yearly) are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
  • Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Free trials: if a free trial is offered, it turns into a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a free trial is lost when you buy a subscription.
  • Cancelling: manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings (how on Apple, how on Google Play). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds: Apple and Google handle refunds under their own policies, including any right of withdrawal you have under consumer law. We can’t issue refunds for store purchases ourselves.
  • Restoring: use Restore purchases in the app to unlock what you’ve bought on a new device signed in to the same Apple or Google account.
  • Price changes: we may change prices. A change applies from your next period, and Apple or Google notify you, and ask for your consent where the law requires it, before it applies.

We may change which templates and tools are free and which are paid. We won’t take away a feature you’ve already paid for during the period you’ve paid for.

7. Third-party services

PostMuse relies on other companies’ services, such as the app stores, purchase processing, analytics and crash reporting, and Unsplash for stock photos. Their own terms apply to their services.

8. Intellectual property

PostMuse, its design, text, graphics, templates, fonts and software, and the PostMuse name and logo, belong to Diaconu Mobile Apps or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms don’t give you any right to them beyond the license in section 3 and the rights to your designs in section 5.

9. Changes and availability

We keep improving PostMuse, so features, templates and plans may change, be added or be removed. We can’t promise that PostMuse will always be available or free of errors. If we stop offering PostMuse, we’ll tell you in advance where we can.

10. Disclaimer

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, POSTMUSE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON’T WARRANT THAT POSTMUSE WILL MEET YOUR NEEDS, THAT YOUR DESIGNS WILL FIT OR BE ACCEPTED ON EVERY PLATFORM, OR THAT THEY WILL GET YOU ANY PARTICULAR RESULT.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF POSTMUSE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO WHAT YOU PAID FOR POSTMUSE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or any other liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights that consumer law in your country gives you.

12. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims by others that arise from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of PostMuse, or content you create or share in breach of these Terms.

13. Ending these Terms

You can stop using PostMuse at any time by deleting the app. If you have a subscription, cancel it as described in section 6. We may suspend or end your access to paid features if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms; where we can, we’ll tell you why first.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app or on this website before it applies. If you keep using PostMuse after that, the new Terms apply; if you don’t agree, stop using PostMuse and cancel your subscription.

15. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Courts in Iasi, Romania, have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.

16. App Store and Google Play terms

If you got PostMuse from Apple’s App Store:

  • These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for PostMuse and its content.
  • Your license is limited to using PostMuse on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store’s Usage Rules allow, including through Family Sharing where it applies.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide any.
  • If PostMuse fails to meet any warranty that applies, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the price you paid for it, if any. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for PostMuse.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for handling claims about PostMuse, such as product liability claims, claims that it doesn’t meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws. Send any questions, complaints or claims to us, using the contact details below.
  • If someone claims that PostMuse infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  • You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • You must also follow the terms of any third-party agreement that applies when you use PostMuse.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and once you accept them, Apple may enforce them against you.

If you got PostMuse from Google Play, these Terms are between you and us, not Google, and Google Play’s Terms of Service also apply to your purchase.

17. General

If a part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a right, we haven’t given it up. These Terms, with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about PostMuse.
